Book Review: A Companion to Translation Studies

A Companion to Translation Studies Kuhiwczak, Piotr and Karin Littau, eds., 2007. Clevedon: Multilingual Matters. As early as 1972, when James S. Holmes presented his seminal lecture "The Name and Nature of Translation Studies" (see Venuti 2004), drawing a map for the then new discipline of Translation Studies, he called for the beginning of a "meta-discussion" (ibid.: 191) in Translation Studies.
